Question 4. How do you live in the communion of the Holy Spirit?  By the Holy Spirit, I am made one with the Lord Jesus Christ.  I am baptized into Christ’s body, the church.  As a member of this community, I trust in God’s Word, share in the Lord’s Supper, and turn to God in prayer.  As I grow in grace and knowledge, I am led to do the good works that God intends for my life.

What We Believe... Our Class Statement of Faith
(A Work in Progress)
On Scripture...

holy bible

We believe that scripture is the Word of God.  It contains parables and stories, such as the Christmas Story, documentation of Jesus’ life (the Gospels) and the Creation.  Through this, we know the history of God’s people through time.  We believe in the Trinity, which includes God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit – the scriptures allow us to connect with God.

We believe that scripture teaches us about Jesus and God, instructs us how to live our lives, tells us the way to salvation, and helps and protects us on the right path.  God sacrificed his own Son to save and love us and to guide us in a time of trouble, and God speaks to us through scripture and people.
